Dissertations are one of the requirements for people who want to finish a higher degree. In writing this, you may need to follow a dissertation structure.

Dissertation structures are almost the same and minor variations on your dissertation structures may depend on the school and the professor. Here are the major parts of the dissertation structure that you may be asked to write.

• A dissertation structure contains a Title page. This is where you will be mentioning your dissertation title along with you name, degree and the year of the study.
• Your dissertation structure also contains separate pages for a signed statement, an acknowledgement page, an abstract and the table of contents. 
• Another part in the dissertation structure is the introduction. This is the part where you will be introducing your dissertation topic, the subject and the aims of your study. This is followed by the literature review, a part of the dissertation structure that presents the literatures studied for this dissertation. 
• The next part in the dissertation structure is the Methodology part. This is where you get to discuss the different methods used in the dissertation. This is followed by results and discussions page where you will be explaining your findings. 
• Conclusion is the next part is the conclusion where you will be summarizing the whole dissertation including the key findings. This is followed by the Bibliography and the appendices. This is where you give credit to your sources.

This is a general structure which may vary depending on what your professor may require of you or the dissertation structure that your institution has been using. However, these are the major parts that every dissertation may have.
